Per our grading of this item, it is equivalent to the TCA rating of R-2: Fair — A non-professional restoration. Color, texture and finish are clearly different from the original. Other items, such as non-authentic wiring are also evident. This locomotive does not run reliably do to physical damage on some components. This item has been custom painted and decaled by the previous owner. The roof of the cab has broken off of the locomotive. There are various spots of paint loss and scratches throughout the tender and locomotive. There are various broken and missing trim pieces. The wheels show moderate run-time. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning.
