All pieces are all original with no touchup or repaint ever. The loco and B-unit are beautiful showing very little wear with only a couple small nicks. The coupler skirt is all intact with no breaks.
Please note that the outer cardboard box is missing. Measures 15″ x 2 1/2″.
It has not been detailed or cleaned, so a light cleaning may improve its overall appearance. If you’d like photos of any specific part, feel free to ask.
It functions. Couplers function as well. It needs a lubrication maintenance and it looks like it will perform well on the layout. A good cleaning and it will look great on the wall as well. Bonus to the collector is the box.

Collectability: Because of its age and the fact that few survived in pristine condition, it is considered a very rare estate find. The original prototype used an airplane propeller to achieve an astonishing speed record of 230 km/h (143 mph) in 1931.
Post war 2217 a boxed set with the 682 turbine one year only the engine is in excellent excellent plus condition. The white stripes are fully intact. It has very low runtime. It is untested. As is. The rest of the cars are EX – EX- the boxes for the cars are all intact with both in flaps somehave tape repair the engine box for the 682 has one end intact and the other end looks to be taped. Back on the inserts are therefore the engine and the tender… The small box for the barrels is not included. There’s a little bit of missing cardboard on the inside of the top flaps for the set box where it looks like the glue probably took some of that cardboard off when it opened.
