This is NOT the same as On30 or HOn30. 18″ narrow gauge was mainly used in industrial settings, mining, etc. Designed to drop onto the Kato 11-109 N scale Pocket Line powered locomotive chassis ensures that this will be a smooth and reliable runner. DOES NOT include the Kato 11-109 chassis. It could also use the Kato 11-110 chassis with the end handrails removed. With a little trimming around the front and rear chassis opening on the bottom of the shell, these will also fit on the Kato 11-105/106/107 two truck chassis as well. The buffer ends will need modification in order to be used. Kit includes the loco shell, roof and 2x buffer beams. Buffers are easily glued to the 11-109 chassis (see pic…preferred method) or they can be glued to the bottom of the loco shell. Snap the shell onto the chassis before gluing the buffers in place. A cool feature…if the buffers are glued to the 11-109 chassis (as in the pic), you can actually (carefully) swap the shells with any of our diesel shells whenever you want. On18 scale.These kits make an excellent starting point for building custom cars. Add your own details (headlights, ladders, brake wheels and gear, etc) for a very unique car.
